Subjects taken were: Mechanics , Thermodynamics, Mathematics 1, Electromechanics, Presentation of Engineering Information, Materials; Mathematics 2, The Engineer in Society, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Physical Metallurgy, Mechanics of Materials. This was done on a home study basis. 1985 -1986: M. Sc. in Manufacturing Processes and Management at the University of Birmingham (UK). Topics studied were Manufacturing processes, Production Management and Financial Management. 2000 - 2004. M.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Malta on a part time basis. The topics studied were Finite Element Methods, Random Processes and Operations Research.

Experience Teaching/Lecturing 2007 - present: Lecturing at St Martins Institute of IT to students sitting for the London School of Economics (LSE) examinations in Managerial Economics, Investment Management, Statistics, Mathematics and Strategy. I also give tutorials using appear.in. Giving private lessons to LSE students in Management Science, Calculus, Corporate Finance and Linear Algebra. 2008 - 2011: Online lecturing to a student reading for an economics degree from Bocconi University in Mathematics, Statistic, probability , finance and microeconomics. 1987-2008: Teaching Pure and Applied Mathematics on a full time basis at a local sixth form ( 16 to 18 age bracket). 1987 - 2009: Lecturing at the University of Malta on a part time basis in the following subjects: Probability, Statistics, Mechanics (Applied Mathematics), Laplace Transforms. 1997 -1999: Lecturing on a part time basis at the Malta Institute of Accountants in Mathematics and Operations Research. Research Scientist/ Consultant 1987: research scientist in surface physics at the Delft TU, the Netherlands. 1998: Consultant to industry. Troubleshooting problems ranging from data analysis for a call center and queuing analysis for Vodafone Malta: Forecasting of mail for Malta Post; engineering analysis of failed reverse light switch and heat treatment procedures.
